1. General Easter Colouring Competition AST
  This is your chance to earn Waka points with a colouring challenge! Get your competition colouring page from your tutor teacher or at your waka assembly. Hand into the student centre by interval Thursday. Lots of points available!

 
 
1. General Inter-Waka Ki-o-Rahi Competition BWA
  Come and participate or support your Waka in the annual Inter-Waka Ki-o-Rahi Competition:

When: Week 9, Wednesday 27th and Thursda 28th at lunch
Where: Bottom fields
Who: Anyone
Why: To gain Waka points!

Please sign up after your Waka assembly, or arrive on the day.

 
 
1. General Nayland College Easter Egg Hunt - Wed and Thurs AST
  Purple rocks will be hidden OUTSIDE around the school for you to find Wed and Thurs interval and lunch this week. If you find a purple rock, take it to the covered way to get your Easter egg and waka point. There is an extra special golden rock to find that wins you an extra special Easter treat.

 
 
3. Cultural Kapa Haka 2024 BWA
  We invite anyone who may be interested in Kapa Haka here at Nayland College to come tou our first muster of the year.

When: Thursday 4th April (Week 10) - LUNCH TIME
Where: Glue Gym (Bottom)

3. Cultural Labo In-Japan Homestay Program 2024-2025 GMR
  Labo In-Japan Homestay Program 2024-2025
This program is a must for students who are interested in travelling, meeting new people, and have an interest in Japan.  Students do not have to be studying Japanese or be able to speak Japanese, however it would be an advantage.  The program does require a level of resilience and positive attitude.

·         Departs Thursday 12th December 2024
·         Returns Sunday 5th January 2025
·         $7,560 per student, including return flights on Air New Zealand, accommodation throughout, all meals, 3 night winter youth camp, homestay with a host brother or sister and the support of the Labo International Exchange Foundation.

  Any senior students wanting to represent Nayland College at TSS Senior Ki o rahi which will be held at Nayland College on Thursday 11th April, Please register at the Sports office in the Red Gym.

  We have made the finals of Ki o Rahi! Come down and participate in this today at lunchtime OR if not playing, come and support our team to take first place!
