  Students interested in helping with set painting for Addams Family could you please meet in the hall at lunchtime Wednesday and Friday.

 
 
1. General Library Loyalty Cards TWE
  Here's a bit of fun for you and super easy to do. When you get your next book out, ask for a Loyalty card to go with it. Receive a stamp for each book that you read, when you have read 6 books you can enter in the end of term Prize Draw.

2. Meetings Yr 11 Leadership Group AST
  Any Yr 11 students who are interested in being a part of planning our casual dress days or being a member of the SADD (Students against driving dangerously) are welcome to attend a meeting on Thursday lunchtime in GR1. Any questions please see Sam Maitland.

  There will be no kapa haka practice today, but Thursday's practice will go ahead.

  We are holding a double bill movie event in the lead up to Addams family Production on Wednesday 8th of May. What better way to immerse yourself into the show! Pizza and popcorn provided. 4. Careers ETCO Whanau Evening MRI
  Do you have an interest in becoming an Electrician? If so, this evening would be great to attend. You will have a tour of the training centre and have the opportunity to ask any questions about what they can offer. Thursday 2 May, 143 Rutherford Street, Nelson, 5:30pm

4. Careers Midwife Careers Information Sessions AHS
  If you would like to explore career options in Midwifery, ARA (Canterbury) are running information sessions in person at Nelson Hospital, 7pm on Weds 22 May, or online for Thurs 30 May. Online distance learning is possible (with block courses in Christchurch).

4. Careers NEW Civil Engineering TASTER at NMIT AHS
  A Civil Engineering Taster on 30 May at 10am has been added to the Taster week at NMIT (27-31 May).
Many other Taster sessions are available for students to sign up to - be quick as limited places.
Tasters are held at NMIT and are fun, interactive half-day sessions where you get a taste of student life, talk to tutors and current students. Some of the other courses include: Beauty, Business Studies, Aquaculture, Maritime, Automotive, Tourism and Guiding, Cookery, Engineering and Fitness, and many others.
