1. General Art Club GMA
  The art club welcomes students to spend time in our art room during lunchtimes. It will be a quiet space to be creative and enjoy making your own art. To make this successful we need to leave the room clean and tidy and respect the space.

What: Bring your own supplies,

Max of 25 students, juniors will get priority.

 
 
1. General Christian Group SGW
  Meeting every Tuesday lunchtime in BSR room. Snacks & conversation topics, all welcome to join. Contact Sarah Gwyn for more information.

 
 
1. General Hospitality Window JIS
  The Hospitality window is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.
Tuesday interval we will have sponge cake wth yoghurt and balsamic caramel roasted pears $3.
Baked Mac and Cheese $5 at lunch time.
Remeber $3 coffees and hot chocolates @ interval.

 
 
1. General Murder by the Book! TWE
  So, you thought the Library was a safe and quiet place filled with books and information? WRONG!!
A dastardly crime has been committed and it needs some detectives to follow the clues and solve the crime. Come to the Library to find out more. The 'scene' will be set up until end of Tuesday 28th May, so plenty of time. For the cleverest of Detectives - this means the one who not only correctly identifies who did it, but who reasons best how they did it, why they did it and who didn't do it, there will be a delicious prize.

 
 
1. General Op-Shops! DSN
  Nayland Op-Shops are running again! Friday Week 6, in the hall at lunchtime. All items $1. Please donate clothes!! Drop off clean, good quality items (folded and in bags/boxes) to the covered way before school during Week 5 and 6. All those who donate will get a 50% off coupon for the Op-Shops. Can’t wait to see you there!

1. General Sausage Sizzle JFE
  This Friday lunch time we will be having a sausage sizzle to help raise money for our musicians to attend KBB music festival in Auckland. $2.50 bring cash or eftpos available. We will be down from the business centre in the middle driveway.

 
 
1. General Science tutorials HMN
  Remember that as assessments roll in, Science tutorials are available Monday after school (L4C), Weds lunch (Lab 3A), and Thursday Period 1 (L1B).

 
 
1. General Year 10/11 CAAs Week 5 CVR
  If you are entered into the CAAs in Week 5, you must BRING YOUR CHARGED LAPTOP. We need everyone who has a device to bring one. Do not rely on the school providing you with one if you have one at home - there are not enough. We need to use the school devices for those who genuinely need them so BRING YOUR DEVICE, and make sure that you have run all the updates before Monday. Bring a calculator for Numeracy.
Monday 27th: Writing.
All entries, go to the hall at 11.50am
Tuesday 28th: Reading.

3. Cultural On Screen short film JFE
  OnScreen is Aotearoa's leading nationwide short film development platform for high school filmmakers. Students are challenged to create an original short film, documentary or music video of up to 7 minutes. Please register via the OnScreen website. They will then receive the OnScreen Manual, which covers all the essential information they will need to plan their shoot, as well as key dates, rules, and filmmaking tips.
The final registration date is 30 August 2024. All films are due by 26 September 2024. We have an epic prize pool worth over $11,000, including GoPro, cash prizes, industry career sessions and more!

4. Careers Lincoln Uni Food/Fibre 3-day July Holiday Event AHS
  If you are condering a future in farming/food or fibre, Lincoln Uni in Christchurch have a free 3-day event during the July school holidays. Aimed at Year 12 students, all costs (other than transport to ChCh) are included. See Careers in block 2 for further details to apply. Applications close 5pm, Weds 5 June.
