1. General Art Club GMA
  The art club welcomes students to spend time in our art room during lunchtimes. It will be a quiet space to be creative and enjoy making your own art. To make this successful we need to leave the room clean and tidy and respect the space.

When: Tuesdays, lunchtimes
What: Bring your own supplies,

Max of 25 students, juniors will get priority.

 
 
1. General Ball Tickets - SOLD OUT AST
  Ball tickets have sold out. Students who have interviewed with SLT have their tickets on hold. Students who have filled in the permission form have had the ball ticket amount added to their account. There is a waiting list at the Business Centre for those that have not purchased a ticket and meet attendance requirements. See Mrs Scott if you have any questions.

  Tuesday lunchtimes in the BSR room with snacks provided. All welcome to join:)

 
 
1. General Delicious gnocchi for sale on Tues and Weds EBK
  The Manaaki cafe over by the Hospitality rooms is selling sweet potato gnocchi with rich Italian tomato sauce, chicken & herb sausage, spinach and parmesan on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (18th &19th June) for $5 per serve.

The gnocchi will be made by Level 2 Hospitality students, who trialled the recipe last week and it was delicious!
Come along and support us, and enjoy a lovely warm Italian meal for lunch tomorrow &/or Weds :) Only 15 serves per lunchtime- get in quick!

1. General NZSL Club DSN
  If you know New Zealand Sign Language, or want to learn some, come along to Room 16 every Tuesday lunchtime to practise and catch up with other NZSL users!

 
 
1. General Periodic Table Competition CSN
  Periodic Table Competition is on this Thursday 20th June at lunchtime in the Hall.

Recite 10 elements in the right location to get a waka point. First 100 to recite 20 elements get a free pie.

Digital Citizenship means being a good and responsible user of technology, especially when we’re online. This involves things like Respecting Others’ Privacy. Just like we wouldn’t peek into someone’s diary, we should also respect people’s privacy online.

 
 
1. General Sausage sizzle Friday JFE
  Sausage sizzle Friday lunch time near the business centre. $2.50 each. Cash & eftpos available. Fundraising for music students to get to Auckland KBB festival.

 
 
3. Cultural On Screen short film JFE
  OnScreen is Aotearoa's leading nationwide short film development platform for high school filmmakers. Students are challenged to create an original short film, documentary or music video of up to 7 minutes. Please register via the OnScreen website. They will then receive the OnScreen Manual, which covers all the essential information they will need to plan their shoot, as well as key dates, rules, and filmmaking tips.
The final registration date is 30 August 2024. All films are due by 26 September 2024. We have an epic prize pool worth over $11,000, including GoPro, cash prizes, industry career sessions and more!

4. Careers Puna Ako Session - Scholarships & Studylink MRI
  This Puna Ako session is on Scholarships and Studylink Information. If you are a Y13 student who is planning to attend university, please come along to see what you may be eligible for and how to apply. Thursday 20 June in the hall, 9:25am - 10:10am. All welcome. Please bring your device.

 
 
4. Careers University of Auckland Information Evening AHS
  If you would like to find out about studying at Auckland University, they are holding an information session at the Rutherford Hotel on Tues 2 July 6-8pm. See the poster in the covered way to scan and register your intention to attend.

  The Careers Advisors are now focussing on interviewing Year 12 students. Please schedule an appointment if you require help prior to this.
