1. General 9 Mid Year Intake IOS Trials AWT
  If you are wanting to trial for one of the Mid-Year places that are available for the IOS class ensure that you have:
1. Completed the application form and handed into the PE office
2. Meet in the gym in your PE kit This Thursday P2 & P4 (if needed Fri lunch and Fri p5) - if you are absent or cannot make these times you need to come to the PE office and discuss with Mr Geddes before hand.

 
 
1. General BINGO!! RTL
  BINGO!! Bring your friends to te Puna Manakau this Thursday lunchtime to play Bingo. Yummy prizes and vouchers up for grabs. Games start at 1.45. Be on time to secure your spot!

 
 
1. General Dance Showcase JPE
  Nayland Dance Showcase is on this week! Tuesday and Wednesday night 6.30pm in the Hall. Tickets are $5 and can be booked through Eventbrite or there will be door sales on the night (cash/eftpos). Come and support our Y9-13 Dance students, 10 Musical theatre, and Nayland Dance Company!

 
 
1. General Nayland Ninja Warrior SMD
  Last day of term fun! Get a mate from your waka and enter into the Nayland Ninja Warrior, to be held on Friday Lunchtime. All students have been emailed an entry form. Please complete by Thursday. Bring a spare set of clothes - it's going to get mucky!

  Please return your Open Night Guides permission slips to the Student Centre by Friday. Thank you.

 
 
1. General Plants for Sale AWI
  Yr 10 Plants for Profit class are selling plants they have grown for the last 2 terms
Range of House plants - monstera, string of dolphins, succulents ect
Prices range from 50c to $5 (Cash only)
Selling on Tuesday and Wednesday this week at lunch in the hort block (near f block)

  Any Year 9's keen to be a runner for the day in Term 3, please sign up at the Student centre.

 
 
1. General Yr 12/13 Students - Long term device loans CHD
  There is now a small number of devices available in the library for year 12 and 13 students to borrow over the holidays to complete assessments. These devices will need to be returned by the first week of term 3.

 
 
3. Cultural Sri Lanka trip 2025 GOOD TO GO! For current year 10-12 AWL
  Calling all Year 10 -12 students...Are you interested in a trip of a lifetime to Sri Lanka for 13 nights September 2025?

4. Careers Hands on at Otago applications open for 2025 MRI
  Hands-On will run from Sunday 12 January to Friday 17 January 2025. This opportunity is for students who will be in Year 12 and 13 in 2025 to go down an experience a week of Otago student life. To learn more head online otago.ac.nz/hands-on-at-otago. You will find videos, info on costs and scholarships available. This is a great opportunity, so check it out.

 
 
4. Careers Hospital Careers Wananga for Maori/Pasifika AHS
  If you a Senior student interested in Healthcare as a career, Health NZ have a 3-day wananga at the hospital in September. It includes a guided tour of various hospital departments, guest speakers and insight into health careers. If you are Maori/Pasifika and would like to attend, register your interest at the Careers Office, block 2.

 
 
4. Careers Music Tour at NMIT AHS
  If you are a senior student interested in finding out what it is like to study Music at NMIT, register your interest at the Careers Office. We are having a tour of their facilities and learning about programmes on offer on 6 August.

 
 
4. Careers Puna Ako Session - Ex Uni Student Talk MRI
  Y13 students are invited to attend this session to hear from ex students who have attended university. You will have the opportunity to listen and ask all the questions you have. Thursday 4 July in the hall, 9:25am - 10:10am - all welcome.
