  Anyone out there who is keen to join Debate Club can come along to room 30 at lunchtime to learn more about debating and meet other people who like to debate. We are currently getting ready for the staff-student debate that is on in Week 2.

 
2. Meetings International Student Committee meeting L2A Wed 24 Jul Interval GMR
  There will be an international committee meeting in the Science Lab L2A at interval on Wednesday 24 July. The meeting will be about the upcoming Japanese group arriving and any help that you can provide. This will require students from all year levels to support them. All interested welcome to attend.

1. General Open Night Guides DHD
  Please continue to take Open Night Guides permission slips to the Student Centre. There will be a meeting for all Open Night Guides in the Hall at itnerval on Wednesday. It is important that all attend.

 
 
1. General Study room by the Library is out of use for 3 weeks GMR
  For the first three weeks of term 3 the study room next to the library will become a classroom for the new international students and a group from Japan. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. Mr Millar.

1. General Yrs 11 - 13 - Long term device loans from the library CHD
  The library now offers a select number of devices available for loan. These devices are specifically intended for year 11 to 13's who have upcoming assessments that span an extended period. Swing by the library and chat with Mrs. Winslade to loan a device out.

  Students wanting to represent Nayland in the interschool Chess Champs meet with Mr Walker in R14 at lunchtime no later than Wednesday.

  Itinerant music lessons start again this week. Please check your email's or teams for your schedule. The timetables are also up on the wall outside the music office.

4. Careers Hands-On at Otago - applications are open for 2025 MRI
  Hands-On will run from Sunday 12 January to Friday 17 January 2025. This opportunity is for students who will be in Year 12 and 13 in 2025 to go down an experience a week of Otago student life.
