1. General Ball Ticket Collection - THURS INTERVAL AST
  Students attending the Ball on Saturday MUST attend a meeting at interval on Thursday in the Hall. Your physical ticket will be given to you at this meeting. Please check that your name is on the list outside the covered way to attend the Ball and see Mrs Scott if there are any issues.

 
 
1. General Casual Dress Day - FRIDAY AST
  We will be having a casual dress day to fundraise for Haere Mai bags. Haere Mai bags is a student run organization where we pack school bags with stationery and books for former refugee students starting at our school. This helps these students have an easy start to school and ensures they feel welcome here. We really need your donations to be able to buy these supplies so be sure to bring your gold coin if you choose to wear casual dress. 1. General Subject Selection Evening - Wed 5.30-7.00pm AST
  Reminder that Subject Selection Evening is on Wednesday. This is an opportunity for Yr 10-12 students to discuss subjects for 2025 study with the teachers and make informed choices about future pathways.

 
 
3. Cultural PRIDE Bake Sale!!! ACN
  Along with your casual dress gold coin, bring a few extra for some delicious baked goods. This FRIDAY lunchtime on the driveway. Eftpos and cash available.

 
 
4. Careers Hands On at Otago MRI
  Experience a week of university life on the Dunedin campus. This is for students in Year 12 or 13 in 2025. Register online - applications close 8 August. This is a fantastic opportunity for Y11 and 12 students

 
 
4. Careers McKee Tertiary Scholarship MRI
  The McKee Scholarship is available to students that may struggle to attend university financially. The scholarship is $2,500 per annum for a maximum of three years. 1 applicant per school is put forward. Although the financial position of the recipient is taken into account - it is not the only consideration. Please see Ms Wall in the Careers Centre asap, or by 9 August if you wish to apply.

 
 
4. Careers PWC - Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu Scholarship MRI
  The name of this scholarship is a whakataukī that translates to 'Adorn a bird with feathers and it will fly.’ This is the foundation of what PwC would like to achieve by awarding this scholarship to talented young Māori. Two Scholarships will be offered to young Māori talent, these were created in partnership with our Manukura Māori Business Team. We're looking for students who want the opportunity to launch their career at a human-led, tech-powered community of solvers. 4. Careers PWC Scholarship MRI
  Each year five PwC Scholarships are offered to support students who are facing financial and/or personal hardship. This scholarship is focussed on giving local talent the best start possible, by providing financial support during their tertiary studies and having a PWC Mentor.

  Canterbury University are holding an Open Evening for Teaching on Thursday 15 August, 4:30pm - 7:00pm at the UC Nelson Campus, FM Building, 145 Collingwood Street, Nelson.
