1. General Chocolate Biscuit Book Club TWE
  TODAY lunch time in the Library. We like to talk about books - the good ones and the bad ones and the did they do a decent job making the book into film ones. Got a Chatterbox game to play, first look at some books that are being given away and all the while enjoying the company and the biscuits. Chocolate of course.

1. General Computers for loan from the library CHD
  If you need a computer the school has computers in the library for you to loan for a short period of time. This means you don't need to keep logging in each class and can take it home to complete your learning.

 
 
1. General Daffodil Day AST
  Purchase a daffodil/s to be specially delivered to a student on Thursday! Daffodils are $2 each and need to be ordered from the Business Centre Mon-Wed this week. You just need to fill in a card with the students name and the number of daffodils you would like them to receive. All money raised goes to the Cancer Society. Please support this worthy cause.

  Join us every Monday lunchtime in Room 16.
Open to both beginners and experts, we provide knitting needles and wool, or you can bring your own. Come and enjoy a fun, creative break with us!

3. Cultural Solo Arts Competition application are now open JFE
  The competition is open to dancers, musicians and actors.
The competition will take place on the evening of Wednesday 4th September in the PAC. The competition is open to all Nayland College students. Applications close on Wednesday 28th August at 3:15pm. 3. Cultural The Crucible Level 3 Drama Production JFE
  Join the Level 3 Drama class as they present the story of Salem witch trials that took place in Massachusetts during the late 17th Century. There are still tickets available through eventbrite for Tuesday 27th of August https://www.eventbrite.com/e/940683187737?aff=oddtdtcreator and Wednesday 28th of August https://www.eventbrite.com/e/940683970077?aff=oddtdtcreator. These tickets are free but you still need to book to get a seat.

 
 
3. Cultural YOUR Education - Exchanges abroad GMR
  Your Education is accepting bookings for our exchanges departing in August 2025, December 2025 and January 2026. We have also just launched an Early Bird Discount for these departures. The first ten students to be accepted onto an exchange will receive $1,000 off the programme fee!!

We also have limited places available to some destinations for December 2024 or January 2025 departures.

  Any Year 11 students who are interested in the Defence Forces can come to the Careers Office at interval today to register interest for any upcoming events with the Army/Navy/Air Force.

  Are you a Y12 or Y13 Maori or Pasifika student who is intending to work/study in the health sector? Te Whatu Ora have a 3-day Health programme at the hospital 24-26 September. 5. Sports Disc Golf BCR
  Any students wanting to play in the Tasman Schools Disc Golf championships please sign up in the Sports Office. This is a 1 day event on 19th September.
