1. General Matua Matt - Shave for Cure Fundraiser AST
  Matua Matt has agreed to shave his hair if our school can raise $1800 for Shave for a Cure! Please support this worthy cause through the casual dress day on Wednesday 23 October!

 
 
2. Meetings 10SUP - Westport camp NGO
  Students attending the Surf's Up camp next term meet in Room 27 at the start of lunch on Friday 18th October. Students who do not attend the meeting will be allocated a random bunk room.

 
 
2. Meetings Graduation Committee CGR
  Any Year 13s that are interested in helping organise the Graduation Dinner that is on the 5th of December. Please come to a meeting at lunchtime today in room 16. Email Mrs. Gravett if you want to be involved, but can't make the meeting today.

 
 
3. Cultural Itinerant music lessons JFE
  Please check your email's or teams for your timetable for Itinerant music lessons starting this week for those that are currently enrolled.

 
 
3. Cultural Trip to Borneo 2025 AWL
  World Challenge Expedition - See yourself in one of oldest rain forests in the world with a group of like minded adventurers?
You and your team tackle fresh challenges each day, this once-in-a-lifetime experience, provides just how much you're capable of.
A summary of what to expect:
- Fly into and explore the city of Kuching
- See orangutans in their natural habitat
- Trek and camp in Kubah National Park
- Stay at a Turtle Conservation Centre and work alongside a team on environmental and community projects

Information zoom session is on the 23rd Oct. & deadline to register is 8th Nov.

4. Careers Do you want to become a community leader? AHS
  Volunteer Nelson are running a course to upskill students in what it takes to become a community leader. They can support you in joining a local board and learning how governance works. More information is on their website: www.volunteernelson.org.nz/youth-governance - apply by 28 October.

 
 
4. Careers GAP year or volunteering overseas AHS
  Projects Abroad offer organised overseas volunteer options for students in countries such as Fiji, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Tanzania and Peru. Options iniclude healthcare, conservation, construction and education projects. For more details see their website: www.projects-abroad.co.nz

 
 
4. Careers Year 11 focus term 4 AWL
  Any student is welcome to visit the Careers Office for support on helping you make choices about education, training and work.
Our focus this term will be to interview those year 11's who missed their appointment last term.
